Citra Tramadol is a strong pain killer medicine used to treat extreme pain to normal. Tramadol is a synthetic opioid and acts in the brain and spine (central nervous system) to reduce the amount of pain you feel.Like all opioids, tramadol can be addictive if it’s taken for a long time. It will usually prescribe for a short time.

Tramadol help to relieve pain does not stop the pain completely, but you will not be able to feel it as much.

Tramadol is found in both form liquid and tablets.

Work of tramadol

 Tramadol is an opioid receptor agonist. It treats pain in two ways. It attaches to certain mu-opioid receptors in your brain. This changes the way you recognize pain.

 

 

Tramadol is prescribed for alleviating moderate to severe pain, such as that experienced following surgery or a traumatic accident.

 

It is often used to diagnose or treat severe pain in the brain and neurological system.

 

Warning before taking tramadol

 

Concert with your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to opiate pain medications, any other medications, or any of the ingredientsin tramadol products. Ask your pharmacist for a list of the ingredient doctor or pharmacist

 

if you are taking monoamine oxidase (MAO) iisocarboxazid (Marplan), linezolid (Zyvox), methylene blue, phenelzine (Nardil), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam, Zelapar), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) concert with your doctor.

 

Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental awareness. Do not stand up or sit up quickly, especially if you are an older patient. This reduces the risk of dizzy or fainting spells. Alcohol may interfere with the effect of this medication.

Side effects

 

The side effects of tramadol are similar to those of other opioids, and include:

 

• constipation

 

• headache or dizziness

 

• fatigue or drowsiness (especially right after a dose)

 

• loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting

 

• sweating

 

• muscle weakness

 

 

Missed dose of medicine

 

If you have skipped a dose and it is almost time for your next dose, skip it. Do not take two doses at one time.

 

OVERDOSE

Overdose become harmful for your health over dose symptoms can include severe drowsiness, pinpoint pupils, slow breathing, or even no breathing, leading to fatality if seeking medical help is delayed.
